Frequently Asked Questions

  • People normally obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from their GP and organise an appointment from there. It is not essential to have a MHTP, but sessions will be more affordable with a rebate.

  • Appointments are delivered Monday through to Friday during normal business hours. Some after hours appointments are available.

  • Approximately 50 minutes.

  • Psychologists cannot prescribe medication.

  • Approximately two to three weeks for an initial appointment.

  • People normally provide their credit card details at the end of each session, which is then processed using an EFTPOS machine. Credit card details are never stored.

  • If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, your psychologist will process the rebate for you after each session. Money will then be deposited into your nominated bank account.
